The best results are experienced by those who are open to receiving. This is not always a natural or easy thing and so one of the first skills we practice when I work with you is the Art of Receiving. Once a person is open to receiving support, care and even pleasure, the possibilities are limitless. Often we learn to give to others as a way of staying safe. It is much more vulnerable to open up and receive than it is to give to others. You do not need to be a great receiver in order to work with us, you only need the willingness to explore.

Curiosity Is An Amazing Way To Approach Our Relationship To Our Body And Our Desire.

Our feeling sense, our arousal and our ability to communicate are three important aspects to consider when working with relationships, pleasure and intimacy. I have consistently found that bringing a quality of curiosity is a wonderful way to navigate what often is a convoluted and confusing path. So much history goes into our ingrained patterns of relating that we must have humor and persistence in order to overcome the ‘stuckness’ that we often feel in these vulnerable aspects of our lives.

Working On Relationship Requires Us To Commit To Ourselves.

We must have a sense of Self Esteem that says ‘I’m worth it’ at least in some small measure. This hurdle is something I will touch on in a consult with a potential client and sometimes we can overcome a lack of Self Worth in order to begin the work. Every small win during the process of working with me adds to your sense of Self Esteem and builds your confidence. If the gap is too great to leap over at this time, I will offer some preliminary options for you to dive into on your own before we discuss working together.

OMGOSHHHHH thank you for talking about the Narcissist because I wasn't aware of the covert type which is TOTALLY my husband which is terrifying for me!!!!!!!
